Right of Withdrawal

Derecho de Desistimiento

Consumers in the EU have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. This page explains how that works for StayCard and how it differs from cancelling renewal.

Withdrawal vs. cancelling renewal

Withdrawal: within 14 days of purchase you can end the contract and get your money back. Your StayCard is unpublished.

Cancelling renewal: stops the next yearly charge. Your StayCard stays published until the end of the period you already paid for. No refund is involved.

Both actions are available in your StayCard settings after signing in.

Immediate start of the service

StayCard is a digital service that starts as soon as you publish. By publishing you expressly ask for the service to start during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that, once fully performed, the right of withdrawal may be lost or a proportionate amount for the part already provided may be deducted.

In practice, withdrawal requests made within 14 days are handled generously and refunded to the original payment method.

How to withdraw

Sign in, open your StayCard settings and choose “Withdraw from contract”, or send the model form below by email.

Refunds are made using the original payment method. You will not be charged a fee for the refund.
