Terms of Service

StayCard lets you create a guest information card, publish it as a hosted guest page with its own address, generate Wi-Fi and guest-page QR codes, print the card or download it as a PDF, and edit it later by signing in with your email.

StayCard is a self-service information tool. It does not manage bookings, payments from guests, or your legal obligations as a host.

€19/year per property. Taxes included where applicable. The price shown at checkout is the total amount charged.

The subscription renews automatically every year at the same price for the same property unless you cancel renewal before the renewal date. Payment is taken with the payment method used at checkout.

If the price changes, you will be told before a renewal is charged and can cancel renewal beforehand.

You can cancel renewal at any time from your StayCard settings. Cancelling renewal stops future charges. Your StayCard stays published until the end of the period you already paid for; it is not a refund of the current period.

Cancelling renewal is different from withdrawing from the contract — see the next section.

As a consumer you have 14 days from the day of purchase to withdraw from the contract and receive a refund. You can request this from your StayCard settings or by email.

Digital services start immediately: by publishing your StayCard during the withdrawal period you ask us to start the service straight away and acknowledge that once the service has been fully performed you may lose the right of withdrawal, or that a proportionate amount for the part already provided may be deducted.

In practice, withdrawal requests made within the withdrawal period are handled generously and refunds are issued through the original payment method.

If the subscription is not renewed, the public guest page stops working at the end of the paid period. Printed cards and downloaded PDFs remain in your hands, but their guest-page QR code will no longer resolve.

Your data is kept for 90 days after expiry so you can reactivate, and you can delete your account and data at any time from your settings.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you put on your card, including Wi-Fi credentials, house rules and any contact details.

Do not put identification documents, door codes, lockbox PINs, alarm codes, payment data or other people's personal data on a StayCard.

You must have the right to share the information you publish and must comply with the rules that apply to your rental.

StayCard can prepare guest information for you automatically: details can be extracted from text or photos you submit, and guest-facing text you write can be translated into the guest languages you select.

Automated translations and extracted information may contain errors or omissions. Review guest-facing information before publishing it, and correct any translation yourself where needed.

Do not rely on StayCard as the only translation for emergency instructions, medical information, safety-critical instructions, legal notices, or access and security credentials.

You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you choose to publish.

You must have the necessary rights or a lawful basis for any content you submit, and you should not upload unnecessary personal information about guests or other people.

Do not intentionally submit:

• identity documents or passport/ID information
• payment-card information
• door or access codes, lockbox PINs, alarm codes
• other highly sensitive personal information that StayCard does not need

Ordinary names, phone numbers and normal property information needed for a guest card are of course fine.

The service is provided with reasonable care but without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, gross negligence or any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Spanish law applies, without depriving a consumer of the mandatory protections of their country of residence.
